Code of Conduct

We built a safe space.
Here is how we keep it that way.

WIM is a community built on trust. The Code of Conduct is not a list of rules we expect to enforce. It is a statement of the values we already share, written down so that everyone who joins knows exactly what they are joining.

1- Respect
Every member deserves to be treated with respect in our events, online spaces and mentoring relationships. Discrimination, harassment or behaviour that makes another member feel unwelcome has no place here.

2- Confidentiality
What is shared in a mentoring session stays in that session. What is shared in the wellness channel stays in that channel. Members honour the confidentiality of personal and professional information shared within the community.

3- Integrity
Members represent themselves honestly in their applications, profiles and interactions. Misrepresentation is grounds for removal from the community.

4- Professionalism
Members engage with one another in a manner that reflects well on themselves and on the community, online and in person.

5- Inclusivity
Any behaviour that seeks to exclude, diminish or marginalise another member on the basis of gender, nationality, religion, age or any other characteristic is a direct violation of what WIM stands for.

6- Accountability
If you witness behaviour that violates this Code, bring it to our attention. We take every report seriously and respond with care and discretion.

REPORTING A CONCERN
Write to team@womeninmentoring.org. All reports are handled confidentially.

CONSEQUENCES
WIM reserves the right to remove any member whose behaviour violates this Code, following a fair and confidential review process.
